"Miss ___________," a small voice came from the stairs. You looked up from your book.
"What is it Peter?"
The small large browed boy held his teddy bear closer to his chest. "A boy at school told me Santa doesn't exist…is Santa really going to leave me anything?"
You nearly dropped your book in shock. "Of course Santa Claus is real, Peter."
"But-."
"You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better not pout
I'm telling you why."
"Why?" Peter asked as you took him by the hand.
"Santa Claus is comin' to town," you smiled and lifted him into the air as the scene changed to that of a certain North Pole workshop.
"Wow…"
"He's making a list
He's checking it twice
He's gonna find out
Who's naughty or nice."
Peter's eyes widened, "Am I nice?"
You laughed merrily, "Of course! Santa Claus is comin' to town"
"I can't wait!"
"He sees you when you're sleeping

You gave the small boy a warm smile as you picked him up and set him in bed, "I'll tell you what, the moment Santa puts those presents under your tree I'll send your parents upstairs. Is that alright with you?"
Peter gave a sleepy nod before he fell back asleep in his warm bed.
Closing the door behind you you found Tino and Berwald just getting in.
"Is Peter in bed?" Tino asked.
You nodded, "And sleeping like a rock."
"Thank you __________," Tino said, "I'll go up and kiss him goodnight."
Silently you walked out the door and with a click of your heels you disappeared leaving behind only a glimmer of glitter and the faint scent of candy canes.
