"Big brother!" you shouted trying to find your older brother. "Big brother!" Running down the steps to the basement you found him sitting amongst at lease a hundred books. "BIG BROTHER!"
The ponytailed haired man jumped, "Aiyah! __________, do not yell indoors, aru."
Quietly in a whisper you said, "Big brother…"
"What, aru?"
"Whacha doing?"
He lifted the heavy book from his lap, "Looking at old family pictures, aru."
You walked over to him and made room for yourself on his lap, "I wanna see!"
Giving a smile chuckle he said, "Ok, ok…"
"Is that you?" you nearly shouted. It was a picture of Yao in his military uniform.
"Yes, aru."
You flipped a page, "Who's this?"
Yao peered at the page, "Hong Kong, my…well…he calls me teacher."
"Big brother China, why haven't I met him?"
"Umm…well…how about we look at the next page, aru," he turned the page.
"Big brother Kiku!" you shouted pointing to a picture of Japan in his old samurai outfit hold a sword. Turning the page again you found another picture of South Korea groping Yao. "What is Big brother Im doing to you Big brother China?"
The young looking country gave a nervous chuckle and turned the page, "How about we look at another picture…aru."
You clapped your tiny hands at the next picture, "Panda!"
"Yes _________, that was my friend panda," he said giving you a smile.
"Where is he now?"
China sweatdropped, "It turned out to be Russia…"
"Really?"
He gave a sad nod.
"Oh…well that stinks," you said turning the page. "It's Big sister Mei and Big brother Im," you said pointing at the two people. After a while of turning pages you asked your big brother something, "Big brother China…why aren't I in this book?"
He sighed, "Everyone in this book left me…or turned out to be Russia. It's a reminder that I'm alone."
You turned your head and saw how sad your big brother looked. Surprising him with a hug you said, "I'll never leave you big brother. I'm gonna be here forever and ever and ever!"
"I'm sure you will, aru," he said giving a chuckle, but there were still tears in his eyes. Getting up you left him in the basement. You returned a couple minutes later with a camera. "W-what are you doing, aru?"
"Taking a picture," you said stubbornly setting the timer. "I wanna be in the book too." After setting the camera down you ran back to your big brother's lap and sat down, "Smile Big Brother Yao!"
China gasped as the flash of the camera went off. Instead of going into the book he kept that photo with him, as a remembrance of this first time you called him 'Big Brother Yao' instead of 'Big Brother China'.
