Ludwig took a deep breath. Now was his chance. He double checked his poem for mistakes and walked across the school yard to where she stood. Talking to someone.
Her back was turned, but she was speaking to someone
"I'm sorry Arthur, I just don't feel the same way," you said.
"Oh, ok," Arthur tried to smile. "I understand…I hope I didn't ruin anything…that we can still be friends."
Ludwig's heart started to ache.
You smiled, "I hope so too. Well…I'll see you around."
With that Arthur walked off, leaving _________ alone.
"_-__________," Ludwig said quietly.
__________ turned around giving a shaky smile she said, "H-hi Ludwig, I didn't see you there."
"I had something I wanted to give you," he said quietly, "although I don't think it's the right time now…"
"N-no its fi-." With that the paper was shoved into her hands. Hesitantly she read the content.
_________ my __________
What a beautiful name
If only you'd be mine
Your hair the color of (description)
Your eyes two bright gems
And I the fool to think a goddess such as you
Would love a fool such as me
But here I stand to ask
Would you be mine?
_________ looked up from the poem blushing. "Ludwig…I'm surprised. I didn't know you liked me…if only I had known sooner…"
His eyes windened, "What do you mean?"
"If I had known you liked girls I would have confessed to you instead."
"What do you mean 'if I liked girls'?"
__________ cocked her head, "Don't you know? Everyone kinda thinks you're…umm…gay."
His face turned red. "WHAT?"
She giggled and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "I like you too Ludwig."
His face then turned red for a whole other reason.
