You looked at yourself for at least the third time in the mirror in the last two minutes.
“You look fine,” Alfred said from the family room. “Ludwig is probably just running late.”
Inside you were laughing at that comment. The strict and stern Ludwig Beillschmidt running late? “Yeah right,” you scoffed.
That’s when the doorbell rang.
“He’s here! He’s here! He’s here!” you shouted.
“Yeah, yeah,” Alfred shouted still watching TV.
Regaining your composure you took a deep breath and opened the door. “H-hi, __________.”
“Hi,” you said smiling.
…
…
…
“I…umm got these for you,” he said thrusting a bouquet of flowers into your face. You blushed and took them.
Inhaling the scent you smiled, “Thank you. Let me go put these in some water and then we can go kay?”
He nodded.
When you got back you took his arm and he led you to his car and opened the door for you.
When you got to the park Germany parked and took the picnic basket.
The two of you set up under a tree and sat down. His head in your lap while you played with his hair the two of you talked about just about everything there was to talk about.
“You look really nice, ___________,” Ludwig said blushing.
“Thank you,” you said clutching the edge of your dress in nervousness.
Ludwig hesitantly took your hand in his still blushing. Slowly, so that you could stop him if you wanted to, he kissed your cheek. “I-Ich liebe dich.”
You turned slightly pink, “I love you too, Ludwig.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
