"Stay away!" Belacat shouted at a Francat who had been trying to get particularly close to you.
You sighed, ever since you had told him you were having kittens he had become 100 times more protective. And there was the fact that he was obsessed over you and refused to let any other male cats near you. He seemed to be spending more time "protecting" you than just spending time with you these days.
Carefully you got up and walked away from the fighting. All the stress had to be bad for the kittens. Quietly you made your way to a secret place Belacat would never find you. There you slept for what seemed like minutes to you, but in reality were hours.
"He'll be looking for me," you said sadly. For once you were not happy to see your mate. He would yell at you and demand to know where you been. And then if you refused he would assume that it was another cat.
"_________!" shouted Belacat as you entered the house. Not answering him, or even looking at him, you went to bed and curled up into a ball waiting for the inevitable fight that was about to occur. "Don't ignore me! Where were you?"
Looking up lazily, you said, "Sleeping."
"Who were you with?"
"No one."
"Are you lying?"
"No."
Belacat shook you with his paw, "___________, don't ignore me!"
Groaning you lifted your head again to face your mate, "Belacat, I'm not ignoring you. I'm just tired."
He started to get angry, "You are too! There's another cat isn't there."
"No theres not."
Your words were ignored.
"I know there is," he shouted, "why on earth would you leave for so long? Who is he Americat, Iggcat, Francat? I bet they aren't even my kittens are-!"
He had just crossed a line. You jumped up and took a sqipe at him with your claws. "How dare you." You spat out, "Every time I'm not constantly at your side I must be with another cat! And even when I'm by your side you isolate me by scaring everyone away! I'm tired of the fights Belacat. You keep on worrying about some cat coming along and taking me away, but what you don't realize is that you are practically shoving me away."
You felt tears come to your eyes. "I can't take much more of this." You stood up and got out of the bed walking back to the door.
"_________! Wait-."
"This is goodbye, Belacat," you said, "I don't ever want to see you again." And with that you exited the house. You went to an old friend's house; you knew that if Belacat ever came after you that he would protect you. Americat.
"Yo, __________ what's up?"
Tears were still in your eyes.
"Dude, what's wrong?"
"Americat," you said trying to keep your voice from quivering, "I left him."
His eyes widened, "You what?"
"I left Belacat," you said sniffling slightly, "for good."
"B-but I thought you two loved each other."
"I was wrong," you said starting to cry, "I was so wrong about him. He doesn't love me at all; he's just obsessed over me like he was with Russicat."
America licked your cheek, "Don't worry _________, it'll be alright. Hey do you want to crash here for now?"

"___________!" shouted Belcat.
"Yes, yes, let me in!"
It was too late Belacat stood between you and Americat, "_________, please listen to me."
"It's too late Belacat, I said I'm leaving you and I am."
"No!"
His absolute no took you by surprise, "You're my mate! You can't leave me, and you will not take the kittens from me either. ________, I love you."
"No you-."
"Yes I do!' he shouted startling you again, "Just give me one more chance, if I fail you again I-I…I'll leave you and the kittens alone forever and never bother you again."
Something in your hear ached at those words. Deep in your heart you found the right words to say. "Alright, one more chance."
"Thank you ________," he said licking your face, "I promise I won't fail you again."
And he kept his promise.
