Anya looked out the window and watched as her brother finally left. "M-Mistress Anya," Lithuania stuttered, "d-do you need anything."
Smiling she turned to her, "Some vodka would be nice."
Lithuania only shook more and ran off after saying, "Yes mam!"
The female personification of Russia sighed as she watched her maidservant run away. Even in this big house, living with her three maids and two brothers she still felt lonely. Everyone was afraid of her. Dmitri and Nikolai were starting to become even more independent and the Baltics were far too afraid of her.
She remember the good old days when she was a child. Even though she was a country everything was much more simpler.
Then Russia had an epiphany. A child. She could adopt a child to keep her company.
That was how she ended up here in a rundown orphanage with an old woman trying to pick her a child.
"How about Johnny he's a nice boy," the woman said rubbing her hands together greedily.
Tilting her head to the side Anya said, "I think I can choose who I want." Walking into the children's play room she found next to nothing in means of toys there. Just an old TV in the corner. All the children seemed to be involved in a game.
Happily she watched as the children played. Glancing around she saw a little girl with (h/c) hair on her belly drawing with crayons.
"Hello little one," she smiled at the little girl. To her shock when the girl looked up she saw deep backs under (e/c) eyes and cheekbones that jetted out. Clear signs of mistreatment.
The little girl gave a weak smile, "Hello, I'm ________."
"My name is Anya, what are your drawing ____________?"
___________ looked down at her paper, "Sunflowers," she said handing the picture to Anya, "see!"
On the paper was a crude drawing of a sunflower, "It is very nice, da."
"You can have it," ________ said. "I have lotsa pictures of sunflowers."
"Really?"
_________ bobbed her head, "Do you wanna draw with me?"
"That would be very nice."
"Yay!"

Time skip

After a while Anya finally decided to adopt _______.
"A-are you sure?" the old woman asked.
"Da, I am quite sure."
The old woman sighed and helped Anya sign the appropriate papers.
Soon Anya was getting ___________ into her car.
"Where are we going?"
"We are going home," Anya said giving ________ a smile.
__________ looked up at Anya, "Are you going to be my new mommy?"
Anya was taken aback at the word. Mommy, it seemed appropriate for her, "Yes, I'm going to be your new mommy."
"Mama," __________ hugged Anya around the waist.
The word seemed to melt the cold nation's heart a bit, "Its ok moya decochka (my baby girl)."
___________ looked out the window, "What's that?" she asked pointing at a grocery store.
"That's the grocery store. That's where we buy food."
"Oh," __________ said quietly. "What's that?"
Anya looked at what _________ was pointing at now, "That's a motorcycle."
"A what?"
"_________ don't you know what a motorcycle is?"
___________ shook her head, "Ms. Adams said I showed up three years ago in a basket. I've never been allowed outside the orphanage. I don't know a lot."
Russia looked at her new daughter with sad eyes, "Well, I guess we'll have to fix that."
"Mama, what's that?"
Anya looked in her mirror, "Oh that's….a police car…"

~Time skip; come skip with me!~

When they got home Russia carried her new baby into the house, "Brother's! Baltics! Look who I brought home."
Almost imminently the three Baltics ran into the receiving area, "W-who is this?" asked Latvia.
"This is __________ Braginski," said Anya, "she's my daughter."
"W-what?" all three of the Baltics shouted.
"My daughter, da. I adopted her today," Anya gave _________ eskimo kisses.
____________ looked over the trembling nations, "Who are they," she pointed.
"These are your aunts ________," Anya said setting her on the floor, "go say hello."
_________ managed to walk over and gave Latvia a hug around the waist, "Auntie!"
Latvia blushed and tried to pick _________ up, but since she was so small she didn't manage it.
"Sister, what is it?" asked Nikolai walking into the room with Dmitri right behind him.
"Brothers I have a child," said Anya, "this is ____________ she's my daughter."
Dmitri took _________ off Latvia's hands and gave her a kiss on the forehead, "She's so adorable sister."
Nikolai was still silent, his gaze intensely on ___________.
"Mama!" ________ reached for Anya, but instead Nikolai took her.
Looking up at him with big innocent eyes she said, "Who are you?"
Anya smiled, "He's your Un-."
"I'm your husband," said Nikolai. Everyone was silent, staring at almost in horror at Belarus's words. Anya's anger was boiling. "When you grow up we are going to get married."
___________ shook her head, "I don wanna."
"I agree," Anya hissed taking her baby from her brother. "You cannot marry _________."
"____________~" Nikolai cooed suddenly becoming sweet. "Don't you want to marry me?"
"No!"
"Siastra, let me marry _________."
Russia screamed and ran to her room with ___________. "No! No! No! She's my baby."
It seemed like ____________ had a very tough future ahead of her.
