'I can't find them,' Iggycat thought in a panic. 'I can't find them!'
A soft meow came from under the couch.
"Amerikit?" Iggycat asked. "Canakit? Where are you…oh dear __________ is going to kill me."
"Why am I going to kill you?" you asked walking in through the cat door.
Iggycat looked at you with scared eyes, "I lost them…"
You have him a quizzical look, "Lost who?"
"The kittens! I'm a terrible father!" he cried out.
Chuckling you called out, "Amerikit…Canakit, come on out I think your father has been punished enough. Next time watch them or they'll go wandering off again. I found them down the street," you looked at your young. "Amerikit was trying to pick a fight with Russacat."
"I'm the hero!" Amerikit shouted. "And it's the hero's duty to fight all evil!"
You sighed and picked him up, "Time for your nap."
"But Mom! Heroes don't take naps!"
Iggycat went to pick up Canakit, "Oh, yes they do."
Canakit meowed a soft yawn, "I like naps…I'm tired, Mama are you going to take a nap with us?"
You nodded and put Amerikit in the basket, "Iggycat are you going to nap with us too?"
"Sure, love," he said setting his child in the basket. You purred and nuzzled his neck.
"I love you sweetie…"
Iggycat purred, "I love you too ____________."
