"Gilbert that's it I'm through," you shouted dragging your suit case to the door.
"No __________, please don't go!"
You pushed him off, "I'm sick of the lies and the late nights. You always get called out of town, but I never know why. Sometimes you spend a whole night at a bar and then I have to go pick you up because your designated driver has ditched you!"
"___________, please don't leave me," he whimpered.
"Ok," you sighed, "Gilbert you have one chance to tell me one thing. What is your job?"
Gilbert froze. He said nothing and for what seemed like an eternity the two of you stood there. He opened his mouth several times, trying to answer you.
You gave a bitter smile, "That's what I thought." And with that you reached out to take the knob of the door into your hand.
"___________, please," said Gilbert putting his hand over yours, "don't leave me. I-I-I Iche liebe dich…please."
You opened the door and walked out.
